Project Objectives

• To aid in the discovery of new materials for the development of alternative sources of energy.
• To perform quantum chemical calculations on tens of thousands of organic molecules and determine which candidates are the most promising for developing novel solar and fuel cells.
• To understand how photosynthetic organisms, such as plants convert solar energy into a practical forms of energy.
